This sucks. Lindsay was the only reason I was bothering to watch. I only taped the episodes she was on, as nothing on the rest of the show was catching my interest.
The writers totally wasted her talents, as well as her chemistry with Eric. The show didn't invest in the character of Arianna, or Brady and Arianna as a couple. They brought Lindsay on with great fanfare, then made it clear two weeks into the show that Brady was in love with Nicole, and then Corday further dampens any enthusiasm by pretty much saying that Brady and Arianna weren't going to end up together in the long run, discouraging a lof of Passions fans who had tuned in to see Lindsay and Eric again.
It doesn't appear as if much thought was put into the character of Arianna at all. The writing on Days is really lacking. And what writing there is seems to be invested in the characters of Sami and Nicole, and to a lesser extent Chloe, three characters that have never appealed to this viewer.
I don't know how much longer Lindsay's scenes will appear, but I will watch until her last airdate, and then it's adios Days. Is it too much to hope Days gives her character a decent ending?
Wishing Lindsay nothing but luck and future success as hopefully, she goes onto something bigger and better.
