The Actors
The role of Ethan Winthrop has been played by two actors: Travis Schuldt (1999 - 2002) and Eric Martsolf (2002 - current). Rib Hillis stepped in very briefly while Eric Martsolf was on his paternity leave in 2006. Lindsay Hartley has portrayed the role of Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald since Passions' inception in 1999 but was temporarily replaced during her maternity leave in 2004 by Priscilla Garita.

Bio: Martsolf's credits include the character of 'Pharoah' in the National Touring Company of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," 'Danny Zuko' in "Grease" and 'Professor Higgins' in "My Fair Lady." Martsolf was also an on-stage singing and acting partner with legendary country superstar Dolly Parton at her Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, theme park, Dollywood. Additionally, Martsolf has appeared in the independent films "The Cheater," "Omum" and "If Lucy Fell."
A native of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Martsolf and his wife, Lisa, reside in Los Angeles with their twin boys, Chase and Mason.

Lindsay Hartley

Bio: Hartley was a national pre-teen talent winner of the Young Miss America Beauty pageant. A gifted vocalist, singing since age eleven, Hartley has starred in "Grease" on Broadway, as the lead vocalist in the Las Vegas Sands Hotel afternoon show "Viva Las Vegas," the role of "The Bride" in "Beetlejuice's Rockin' Graveyard Revue" at Universal Studios Hollywood, the coveted role of "Maria" in the Civic Light Opera's "West Side Story" at the Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas and in "Pygmalion, the True Story," which toured the Greek Islands. Additionally, Hartley has won several national vocal competitions including The L.A. Philharmonic's Award Vocal Opera, The National Date Festival and America's Showcase Starlet.
A native of Palm Springs, CA, Hartley currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Justin Hartley (ex-Fox) and their daughter, Isabella.

Travis Schuldt

Bio: Born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, Travis Schuldt graduated from Texas Christian University with a BFA in theatre.
Schuldt has pursued his passion for theatre through the Lone Star Ensemble, a Los Angeles-based theatre company which he created and in which he serves as President. Their productions include "Venus Adonis," "Cardenio," "Albert Hall" and "The Illusion." He has also performed with the Blank Theatre Company.
Film credits include "Midsummer," and "Automatic." Among Schuldt's other television credits are "10-8: Officers On Duty" and guest-starring roles on "JAG," "Baby Bob," and "Veronica Mars." Travis is currently guest-starring as Keith the intern on the NBC sitcom "Scrubs."
