Maybe it was spring fever taking hold. But when we asked Lindsay Korman, star of NBC's Passions, to fly here for the day and star in our "Springtime in Paris" fashion shoot--featuring designs by Issey Miyake, Dana Buchman, Giorgio Armani and Laundry by Shelli Segal--the former Las Vegan couldn't say yes fast enough. "I love Las Vegas. The lights, the energy, the people [including her parents]." It was the Entertainment Capital of the World, after all, that served as a stepping-stone to star status. Korman, who portrays the love-struck Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald on the daytime drama, made her Las Vegas debut at age 17 in the Sands' Viva Las Vegas. And nowhere is her newfound fame more apparent than here. In the elevator, en route to the LeRoy Neiman Suite inside the Paris hotel-casino, where the all-day shoot took place, Korman happily signed an autograph for an adoring fan.
