For a year, we've watched Theresa pine over the man she believes she's destined to marry, the wealthy - and very taken - Ethan Crane. She's wanted to tell the man of her dreams how she feels, but was waiting for just the right moment. Then Ethan's fiancée, Gwen, insisted that Ethan escort Theresa to the prom as a thank-you for Theresa's assistance in planning her wedding.
Big mistake. The romantic prom boat setting prompted Theresa to finally utter the words we've been longing to hear: "Ethan, I love you!" The breathless confession melted our hearts, thanks to Korman's incandescence and fierce sincerity. Talk about waiting to exhale!
As Theresa, Korman wears her heart on her sleeve, successfully telegraphing the electricity and giddiness of first love. But she's not a weak maiden waiting for her prince to come - she's a force of nature whose sheer determination seems capable of moving mountains. Who needs fate to win over a man when you've got such an irresistible combination of sweetness and strength?
