Eventually, Theresa was able to shed the geek look and remain as Ivy's assistant. As Ivy's assistant, Theresa spent a lot of time around Ethan...and he eventually fell in love with her. She also worked at the Book Cafe before being fired by the Cranes, thanks to Rebecca Hotchkiss Crane.
